The Bike Virginia Tour is one of the best annual premiere riding experiences that Virginia has to offer. The 2019 tour will go from Woodstock to Harrisonburg and is over the course of six days. The main inspiration for this design was the cyclists themselves and the energy they bring as they travel as one large group. I decided to do a bunch of bicyclists riding in at an angle so it’s very dynamic, fun, and energetic. I chose to do simple illustrations from an aerial view and used bright colors that would often be found on bicycle attire.
